Worship Support

CONNECTIONS
The aim of Connections is to provide a positive and memorable welcome to all our GCC visitors that encourages and compels them to become active members of our community.

This ministry cannot exist without you and in fact there are many volunteers involved in making Sunday worship events happen, the different roles include:

  • Carparking- help to direct visitors to available carparks.
  • Greeters - welcome people as they come into GCC.
  • Hosting - hosting first time visitor in the cafe, chatting and providing a them with more information about GCC and what it has to offer.
  • Ushers - are involved with showing people available seating at the beginning of each worship event and with handing out welcome packs, helping serve communion and taking up the offering during the event itself.
  • Cafe - We provide an amazing range of food freshly made each Sunday in our own kitchen. And of course, free tea and coffee is available as well as barrister coffee and hot chocolate for a standard charge. The cafe is run entirely by volunteers to a very high standard.
  • Information Desk - This is often the first port of call for newcomers to GCC looking for information about us. In addition, visitors also look to the information desk for details about upcoming events and what’s happening in GCC.
If you are keen to become apart of our Connection ministry and join with us as we welcome people to GCC then please email Paul Anslow at [email protected]
