| Club56
Club56 is an awesome time for kids who are in school years 5 or 6. It
includes games, prizes, dynamic teaching and small groups. It is a
chance for kids of the same age to mix with others, have a great time
together and to learn about Jesus and what it means to be a Christian
today. We hold two large events each term, such as Chocolate Madness or
Mission Impossible. These events are times when kids can invite their
friends along and have a great time in a relaxed environment.

The programme at Club56 is designed specifically for kids in school
years 5 or 6. It consists of four components that are integral to the
			overall success of the programme.

			Hang Time

This is where the kids arrive and spend time just hanging out. Here
they connect with the leaders, talk about their week, or just play
around. We have a range of activities for them to participate in,
including soccer, basketball, Playstation2, Nintendo 64 as well as
heaps of other sports and game equipment.

			Games

All the games we play at Club56 are large group games that include
everyone. These give kids a chance to mix together, learn about
teamwork and how to get along with others. They range from active games
like running relays to games that involve kids trying to name a Bible
character whose name starts with a different letter of the alphabet.

			Teaching

The teaching is all dynamic, object based teaching. It is designed
to apply to the kid's lives and give them something to take home and
think about over the week. We cover a range of topics in the lessons
from dealing with peer pressure to creation or the flood. All lessons
are interactive and involve the kids in some way which helps to
			re-enfocre what is being taught.

			Small Groups

Here is where the hard questions are asked, by the kids that is. It
is here that we unpack what has been taught in the lesson. There are
activities and question sheets with life application type questions.
This is where what has been taught in the lessons become real and the
kids take home something that applys to their lives.
